Our core business is the manufacture and distribution of high calcium lime products. Independently owned and operated, Mercer Lime has expanded horizontally into flux blending and specialty packaging services. Our primary site in Branchton, PA is strategically positioned to service metallurgical and environmental concerns in Western Pennsylvania, Northeastern Ohio, and Northern West Virginia.
We focus our process on developing superb properties that constitute maximum desulfurization and rapid neutralization rates. Our low sulfur, low LOI, and only minimal traces of iron and silica exceed the standards suitable for today's Electric and BOF steel making vessels.
